An interesting scheme that you may want to get involved in is ‘At Home In Scotland’. This scheme hopes to address the need for young researchers to communicate their research to a wider and more diverse audience than just the academy.
It is run by University of Edinburgh students and the deadline for getting involved is 7th March (so this Friday). There is a focus on the ideas of nation and identity so would be perfect for PhDs and ECRs interested in the diaspora.
